Crazy Life

I am sorry that I have not updated in awhile, we have been crazy busy! It was harder than I thought starting back work, plus we are always on the go. We literally haven't been home on the weekend in almost two months!
We decided to forgo the lake this time and relax- where we caught up on our picture taking of E. Please let me tell you that I have been taking pictures of her for the past few weeks to update the blog; so, I go to put them up Saturday and erased every picture on the camera instead! I was devastated- I should not be allowed to control any electronic devices, lol. Wilkins felt so bad for me that we changed Emmalyn's clothes like 20 times Sunday to retake pictures. E now hates the camera- its official!
We haven't been back to the doctor (she goes the beginning of August) but we are guessing she weighs a little over 9lbs now. She will be 3 months old next week and still can only fit into newborn clothes! She is so little and sweet, I love it. She is in that phase where she mimicks every sound and face you make. It is the funniest thing ever- Wilkins and I will sit on the couch for hours making crazy faces and sounds for her! No one ever tells you that when you become a parent you turn kind of goofy:)
Wilkins and I got into the hunting discussion this weekend! He thinks that when Emmalyn is old enough she should go hunting with him. His point is she needs to learn how to stand up on her own and also hold a gun. I think he is crazy- in case no one has noticed she loves being a girly-girl, bows and dresses all the time and always pink! Pink camo is so not cute! I'm trying to explain to him that I didn't hunt and I have always been independent- example, moving to Birmingham by myself! I can already tell this is going to be hilarious when she is older- if she wants to go then she can, I just hope he is not disappointed if she is girly and would rather shop, like her momma!!! I did agree on the fishing though, I love to fish so we are going to start her out young and with a pink rod! When you grow up at a lake house during summer why wouldn't you want too?
Anyways, we are going to Mobile this weekend for Tiffany's 21st birthday and going away party- she leaves for Army boot camp next Wednesday:( I am so proud of her but I am going to miss her! Both of my sisters are military girls now! Sherri is still guarding those oil booms everyday and always working. So ready for this oil spill to be fixed, but it is going to be a long road.
Emmalyn is going to have her first babysitter that is not a grandparent this weekend! We are going to Ruth Chris for Tiffany's party and apparently that is not a place for a baby. Makes me sad- I like the attention, lol!

I am working most of the week so I will update when we get back from Mobile. Love you all.
